Staley's Selected Recipes and Menus
For the past few weeks, I've been organizing my collection of old recipe booklets. If I'm being completely honest with myself, I've been doing more reading than organizing. Anyway, I rediscovered this undated copy of Staley's Selected Recipes and Menus and found a half-dozen recipes to add to my "try someday" list. I also found some household hints and suggestions that made me realize that when some things change, they really change & that a lot has stayed the same over the last 100 years or so.

I Need A New Hobby - Souvenir Handkerchiefs
I started collecting vintage souvenir handkerchiefs, especially Franshaw designs, a few years ago. I recently purchased these 1950s hankies from eBay & they are absolutely fantastic! I need to iron them, but couldn't wait to share them.
